The goal is to inspire, all while increasing the students musical awareness and accessing higher levels of music expression. Whether you are studying to pursue therapeutic/recreational goals or studying to pursue professional endeavors I will help you get where you want to be.

Early Childhood Music Sessions

My early childhood music sessions are a blast. I have fun, and they have fun. I make sure to use popular music and movement songs such as 'March like a dinosaur', 'Baby Beluga', 'Goldfish', 'Baby Shark' and so many others to create an environment where they get to have a positive live music experience.

When a student comes into the studio as a proficient musician. The next step is always to begin to find yourself as an artist. My no fluff theory approach allows you to learn and write songs in a way that works and sounds like you. From there we can learn about the production side and what it takes to be a professional musician.

I am a career musician who loves teaching. My Bachelors degree in Music from the University of Oregon and my unique view of music creates an environment that not only helps the student understand music in a functional manner but also helps them fall in love with this artistic medium. As I like to say... a musical life is a happy life.
